100th comic wooooooooooooo!

PARTY TIME (rapping dogs?)

I just took a two week vacation in Europe, covering Brussels, Hamburg, a highway in Sweden, Oslo, a glacier more somewhere north of Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cologne, Bonn, and various country scenery in Germany.

My plan was to post these photos during the trip, but I wasn’t really able to for most of the trip. I decided to wait until I got back. For the next week, enjoy various photos from my journey. If I still have more to post, they’ll run into next week. At some point, comics will resume.

And if anyone is familiar with what I’m taking pictures of, please let me know—I forgot most of the names of the buildings and places I’ve photographed.

In lieu of a comic today, here’s a photo I shot.

I’ve been researching sailing ships recently (yes, another Wikipedia binge of mine), and found some awesome-looking boats. My studies led me to the conclusion that junk-rigged sailboats are definitely the most awesome-looking

I’m going to Norway next week, and will be gone for two weeks. There will be minimal comic updates. Possibly instead of comics, I’ll just post some pictures from Norway.

I very recently watched all three Pirates of the Carribbean movies, and as a result, I became obsessed with piracy. You know, the swashbuckling kind of a buccaneering sort.

So I’m reading through a book called Under the Black Flag, which looks like one of the better books about true pirates.

It will either be very fascinating, or very disappointing. (OR POSSIBLY BOTH.)
